Why your CSA sold out in three days and mine didn’t.

The difference between a presale launch that fills and one that hears crickets — and it’s not what you think.

A full list beats a louder launch.

Most growers think a launch problem is a posting problem. They wait until the offer is ready, announce it once, and hope people care. But the farms that sell out quickly usually did the work before the cart opened.

They educated their audience, showed the work in progress, answered objections early, and made the offer feel familiar before it became available. By launch day, the sale was mostly a formality.

Demand is built in public.

If people only hear about the CSA when you need them to buy, the offer has to do all the work. If they have watched the season unfold, the offer simply gives them a way to join it.
