Direct-to-Consumer
Stop selling wholesale.
The math that changes everything when the person who raised your food is the person selling it.

The market is not neutral.
Wholesale can be necessary, but it is rarely generous. It compresses the story, the labor, and the margin into a price that someone else controls. For many small producers, the problem is not quality. The problem is distance from the customer.
Direct-to-consumer selling does not magically make the work easy. It adds communication, consistency, fulfillment, and trust-building. But it also gives the producer a chance to keep the value they created.
The person who raises it should be known.
When customers know the producer, the land, and the standards, the transaction changes. It becomes less about finding the cheapest option and more about choosing the right one.
